Here are a couple more of the great videos I’ve found on-line:
This is a great one about Web 2.0 at YouTube:
This is an entertaining talk about how education today can stifle creativity:
2020 Vision:
More about blogging in the classroom:
There’s also an education-centered video website, TeacherTube, but so far, I haven’t been able to embed videos from there in my WordPress blog. Can anyone help?
“More about blogging in the classroom” says a lot about how blogging could enhance students learning and empower them to be autonomous learners. If I could I would take it to my classes. I am sure my students will change their opinions about this wonderful tool. And certainly a good number will join our blogging family. I need to put it on cd. But I have no idea how.
Looking forward to attending your workshops.

As to “education may stifle creativity” I sent it to a good number of colleagues and friends. They all say they know youtube but they cannot find valuable documents like these.
I am glad I have nice things to share with my teaching community.
Thanks a million

These videos are indeed inspiring. Sir Ken is fabulously entertaining, with a profound message. And the blogging-in-the-classroom anecdotes are so interesting. The 2020 Vision, is out there… but “why not?” (:
I thank you, Margo, for propelling me forward in my quest for new ways to engage my students. You are quite the catalyst! Merci infiniment.
